Why we charge for the hour
Most estate companies give away the first visit. They make it back by taking 30% to 50% of everything your family’s things sell for. We stopped doing that.
We charge $120 an hour for our work and take nothing from your sale. That means the first hour is real work we are paid for, We do not take a commission from the sale. On an estate that grosses $20,000, a 45% commission would have cost your family $9,000. Our way, it costs the hours we actually worked.

$120 through Stripe. You get a receipt by email straight away. Cards and Apple Pay accepted.

We reach out within one business day to put the hour on the calendar, mornings through early evening, Monday to Saturday.

Phone, video, or in person anywhere in Mohave County. You get our full hour and honest answers.

What does a consultation cost?
$120 flat for a full hour, paid when you book. That is the whole price. It is the same principle as our estate sale work: you pay for our time, and we never take a percentage of what your estate sells for.
Why do you charge for the first visit?
Because we no longer take a commission. Companies that give away the first visit make it back by taking 30% to 50% of everything your estate sells for. We charge $120 for the hour and take nothing from the sale, and we do not take a commission from the sale. For almost every estate that is a far better deal.
Is the $120 credited if I hire you?
If you book an estate sale with us within 30 days, we credit the full $120 against your first invoice. The credit is applied to that invoice. It is not a refund. Our full pricing is here.
What happens after I pay?
You get a Stripe receipt by email, and we call or email you within one business day to schedule the hour at a time that works for you. Consultations are held by phone, by video, or in person in Kingman and Mohave County.
Can I do a consultation from out of state?
Yes. Most of our out-of-state families do the hour by video or phone. If you can walk the home with a phone camera, we can tell you a great deal about what is there and what it is worth. See our remote estate services page.
Can I get a refund?
No. The $120 is non-refundable. It holds an hour we set aside for you. If your time no longer works, tell us and we reschedule at no charge. Book a sale with us within 30 days and the $120 comes off your first invoice.
Is it free to just call and ask a question?
Always. Phone calls are free and we have never charged anyone for one. The $120 is for a scheduled hour of our full attention, in person or on video, walking your estate and answering everything.
